Hello everyone!

23 April 2015.

Hello guys! Written above here is not the date where this post being published. It was the day that I could never forget for the rest of my life!

I have always wanted to get myself involved with volunteering or something that has to do in giving back to community. Thus, I started to organize few programmes which I believed will benefit the needy people along the way.

I am just ALLAH’s instrument. I try my level best to do my part, and the rest, I leave to ALLAH.
I believed that there’s always room for improvement in anything. I will not going to just sit back and relax although most people said that I have accomplished almost what I’ve wanted. I seek continuous self-improvement because I would like to maximise my potential.
To be honest, I have never thought about this award in the first place.

Wanna know what I have in mind?

I just wanted to share everything that I have in order to help people. I wanted help more kids to love English so that they will stand a chance to be confidence in using it thus one day they will be able to help other people to love English as well.
It is definitely true when they say that past hardships helps to teach us on how to handle future setbacks better.

I have been going through a lot before this, especially in organising the programme and breaking all those critics that were throw at me. By receiving this award; a lot of people said that all of my hard works finally pays off. I am truly grateful for this award and I do hope that I’ll be better person that will contribute more for our nation and ummah.

That's all for now. Till we meet again next time! :)

My Favourite Animation

Assalamualaikum w.b.t!

Hello everyone!

I am sure that everyone loves to watch cartoon when they were still kids. During my childhood years, cartoon programs such as Doraemon, Mickey Mouse, Dragon Ball and many more had become one of the most favourite cartoons. Me myself willing to get up early in the morning so that I won’t miss the programme!

In here, I would like to share two of my favourite cartoons which I found very interesting and fascinating!

1)  Upin Ipin

Alright, so Upin and Ipin have their own series and yes, they did come out with a few movies or film as well. Let’s get to know them! Upin and Ipin is a Malaysian animated short television series, produced by Les Copaque Production. (I am not really sure how you would pronounced it,lol)

It tells a story about the cute twin brothers who lived in a Kampung. Originally, there was a side project for their blockbuster animated film, entitled Geng: The Adventure Begins! I have spent my day with most of my cousins to watch this together, now how awesome is that?

Initially, if I am not mistaken, Upin and Ipin was introduced as six episodes Ramadhan/Eid special episodes, just to instill the significance of Islamic holy month among children. This is definitely great, as they would have become a good role model for the kids.
Because of getting the extraordinary supports and reaction, the series continues with more general theme.

Wanna know something?

This series had managed to win few awards which include the Best Animation award in the 2007 at Kuala Lumpur International Film Festival.

Personally, I still watch this cartoon, and I still waited for it every single time! I am. I find it amazing as this is one of the Malaysian artworks, done by our local people and yet we can be up to this good. I mean, it’s definitely superb. This tells us that we should be proud with our local cartoons as it has equally well as the international cartoons which we had been watching since we were kids.

I believed that the content, story line, characters, audio, visual and other aspects used in this film attract me the most. They have come out with a simple plot yet understandable story line. The characters were definitely too cute too resist and the most important part is that the story line is in line with our life as Malaysian! This somehow made every episode is relatable to our real life. :)

2) Big Hero 6

Inspired.

Yes, that’s summed up of what I felt towards the movie. I actually cried when his brother died, (ops, did I just let it out? Haha) yes, his brother died in a fire, and that’s where the main actor carve his own pathway with Baymax, who should be the personal health assistant. I mean, that’s what his brother preparing Baymax for.

Not just that, I found it rather amazing about the story line and it instill good moral values which some of us might haven’t even notice it. It tells you how revenge and paybacks would not change anything for better, and how pure love can cure the broken heart, also how having good friends can help you to be a better-quality person.

With all the incredible technologies include in the film, I definitely amazed. Really. I was surprised on how a boy, who was still a kid, can come out with the idea of creating the superheroes, and how he actually set up what was needed to become a superhero!

Oh yes, I actually watched the movie for few times! I would say that I love everything about the movies! The characters, the story line, the visual used, musics used and everything that they have done for the movie and the moral values that being portrayed in the movie.

That's all for now, till we meet again in the next entry!

Reflection on Multimedia English Project : The Deadly Woods

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

Hello everyone!

It’s me again! So today, I would like to write a reflection on one of interesting subjects that I have learnt during my university times, which is the Multimedia English’s subject. I have taken this subject when I was in Semester 6, the lecturer for this subject would be my beautiful Madam Mahani Mohamad.

I must admit that I have discovered a lot of new information about multimedia throughout the whole semester. This was definitely beneficial as at the end of the semester, we need to form a group in six and come out with a Video Project on our own. Yes! On our own!
Meaning to say, we are the one who’s going to plan on the storyline of the story, setting, camera angle, costume and many moreee!
Thus, our team may as well to come out with a storyboard to be presented in front of the whole class before we started shooting for the video.
*oh yes, I considered writing a storyboard is a new thing to me.

After careful considerations and thoughtful discussion, we have decided to shoot our scenes at Pantai Batu Buruk woods, located nearby the seaside. We find the place was perfect for us as it is in-line with our theme and storyline.

I considered myself lucky to be honoured with an amazing groupmates, which are Fazira, Syazwani, Azzafirah, Thavamalar and Farhan  Ahlaamie as they have been very supportive throughout the making of our video project.

So here we goes, the tittle for our video would be…..

Yes, The Deadly Woods is the title for our video project.

It tells a story on how a group of students were given a task form their lecturer. The task needed them to take a very beautiful picture so that their group would get the highest marks and thus their pictures will be displayed in the next exhibition in their university.
All of them believed that the famous mystery woods would be the perfect place for their photo shooting. Little did that they know there are a lot unresolved mysteries in there and it has been said that people who went in there had never came out alive. Although they have been reminded by one of their teammates, Wani, who actually believed that something awful, might have happened in the woods, as accordance to the name of the woods itself.
Nevertheless, they would not want to believe it as they said it was just rumours and decided to go there anyway. Then, something really bad started haunting them and one of them lost their priceless lives tragically. And yes, at the end of it, no one actually survived.

All of us actually decided to use our own name for the characters in the story. My role in the story was as Bella, who is the main lead of the story. She was the one who suggested the place and definitely was the most eager person to go there. She was the person who discovered her friends’ body one by one, and she knows something that not right is going on in the wood. She wanted to find out the truth and managed to face the psychopath who had been the reason for no people had survived in there. Nevertheless, she never could have made it alive as well. And the mystery shall remain in the woods.

Wanna know how does that happen? Here’s the link and take your time to watch it!
Enjoy! *wink

I would say that is the toughest yet wonderful experience I have ever had in shooting for a video. This is simply because; I need to shoot in the woods, which located nearby the main road, which a lot of car and stranger’s passes by. Not just that, I need to run on the sandy beach, lays on the sand and even need to make myself fall for few times.

But after all, I think we did an excellent job!

Oh yes, I am not that good in multimedia and handling gadgets. But with this English multimedia subject, I have been able to learn abundance useful tips and techniques, such as there are different angles in taking photos and how does it convey the message to the viewers, the rule of third which help the picture to be centralize and many more! Will definitely keep that in mind and use it in the future.

So long, till we meet in the next entry! :)
